Gavin Booth is a Canadian filmmaker. Booth broke new filmmaking ground teaming up with producer Jason Blum (The Purge, Get Out) to create "Blumhouse's Fifteen", the world's first movie broadcast live using Twitter's Periscope App. He also directed the Canadian horror film, "The Scarehouse" (NBC/Universal).
Booth's latest, the drama "Last Call", is a split screen real-time feature film. No hidden cuts as the film plays out with two camera crews in different parts of a city, showing two sides of a story unfold in real-time. Last Call received outstanding praise on the festival circuit. Booth wrapped production on a new music focused feature film, Primary this past October.
